Old Redding Train Station, Grocery, Post Office

November 19, 2010 by James Nicoloro in Documentary: Mark Twain

Across the track stretched a low wooden platform. It was here that Mark Twain arrived late on a bright, late June afternoon. And it was here that his remains began their final journey to New York City and eventual burial in Elmira, New York. The building began its life as a station, store and post office.
